Score: 94 Points7 Feb, 2022 û This is very spicy and linear with fine tannins that run the length of the wine. ItÆs medium-bodied with freshness and lovely length. Very classic in style. Closed at the end. Drink after 2025.

2019 Les Pagodes de Cos (St. Estèphe) 94Deeply colored, the wine is packed with layers of dark red fruits, 5 spice, smoke, tobacco leaf, cocoa and wet earth, with a hint of thyme in the background. The tannins and soft, ripe, and polished, giving you a well-structured backdrop for all the beautiful fruit that races over your palate with its freshness and silky tannins. This second wine could easily be a Grand Cru Classe' if another classification were to take place. Drink from 2024-2039.1,564 Views Tasted Mar 29, 2022

An excellent wine that has sapidity and punch - a great combination that makes this extremely successful. 4% Petit Verdot completes the blend.

(92 - 94)Reviewed byLisa Perrotti-BrownIssue Date3rd Jun 2020Source2019 Bordeaux Primeurs Flash Review 1, The Wine AdvocateThe 2019 Les Pagodes de Cos (14.03% alcohol) is a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet Franc, aging in 20% new barriques. Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, notions of wild blueberries, boysenberries and redcurrant jelly come bounding out of the glass, followed by a profound core of warm cassis, licorice and bouquet garni with a touch of cinnamon stick. Medium to full-bodied, the palate bursts with bright, expressive black and red fruit flavors, framed by firm, fine-grained tannins and loads of freshness, finishing on a lingering spicy note.

Château Cos d'Estournel 2019 Pagodes de Cos Barrel Sample (Saint-Estèphe)93û95. Barrel Sample. The powerful tannins of the wine show its considerable aging potential. The second wine of Cos d'Estournel, this is a great wine in its own right showing a rich structure and dark fruits. ROGER VOSSRATING94
